The types of personal information collected during our registration process includes, but is not limited to, name, contact and billing information, transaction, and credit card information and personal information on applicants for the purpose of completing the services. EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES will use the applicant/consumer’s information provided by our authorized customers to perform background checks and prepare a report based on criminal history, motor vehicle records, education and employment verifications, credit checks and other types of background screening products. (Background Checks, Pre employment Screening, Consumer Reports, Credit Reports, Investigative Consumer Reports, etc). EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES’s policy states that we closely monitor and guard the distribution of private data. We may send private data to an authorized third party as needed to help us complete some of the services talked about above. Private data over the Internet is always encrypted so that, if data is intercepted, it will remain protected. At no time, will the information collected in our databases ever be sold. It may be provided to outside entities only to complete the services mentioned above in both the U.S.A and overseas if International Searches are requested or required. EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES does not use any applicant information to compile mailing lists for sales, marketing or any other purpose. All data shall be collected, stored, and used in compliance with applicable federal and state laws.
Who Do We Share the Information With?
EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES does not sell, rent, lease, share or give away its mailing or customer lists any information about our customers or visitors to our client portal or website. As mentioned above, the sole reason for gaining access to any personal information of our clients or our client’s applicants is to complete the pre employment screening process. We will only share any of the data provided by you, with other business partners, if we have your consent or are required to do so by law, or need to do so to complete the pre employment screening processes mentioned above. EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES does not compile and resell any data for any purpose other than background checks to our verified customers. Our commitment to data security is evident by the open nature of communication that we have with our clients and their applicants including a very easily used dispute system and notification service.
EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES completes most if its work on US Soil. Occasionally, clients request that International Checks consisting of but not limited to Criminal History, Civil History, Driving History, Employment and Education Verifications etc, be completed. In these scenarios, EMPLOYERS INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES will locate appropriate researchers overseas to help complete this process in a timely and complete manner.
